Content Creation Samples

No matter my writing roles over the years, I have assisted with social media. I've brainstormed how to convert articles into shareable content, flagged trending posts to replicate, curated memes, and wrote / edited captions (Instagram) and teases (X and Facebook).

Outside of work, I love creating content for my own social media accounts. I manage the Instagram and LinkedIn pages for my mental health Substack, Mental Loan; I share my poetry on IG and TikTok; and I have loads of fun shooting videos, designing graphics, and editing photos for all of my accounts. I currently use in-app editing tools, Canva, and video-specific apps like Edits and InShot.

Content creation, whether personal or professional, is just another vehicle for connection and dissemination—plus creativity, of course. I view social media as a means to market my work, express myself, and bond with other humans mid-scroll.

Poetry

I've posted poetry on my main and poetry-only IGs for years (since 2018 on the former; since 2020 on the latter). Recently, I've experimented with video formats too.
